Turn your cluttered closets into cash today!
Here’s how:
It’s simple…
- We accept consignments without appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only. Join our email list or call us the day you plan to bring items in to find out about any exceptions.
- Bring in fashionable (bought new within 2 years), in-season or slightly before season clothing, freshly cleaned and pressed. No stains or holes, of course!
- Items must be brought in on hangers or laid flat in boxes. We will not look through or accept anything in bags.
- We will select and price items that are best suited to our customers. Please understand if we can’t accept an item.
- Our consignment period is 60 days. When an item sells you receive 40% of the final selling price less taxes and buyers fees.
- You have 2 options for bringing items in:
- Bring 20 items or less and we will go through them while you wait. Any items we cannot accept will be returned to you immediately. You must wait while we sort your items as due to the high volume of incoming clothing, we are not able to store unwanted items for you to pick up at a later time.
- Choose the drop and run option: bring a larger number of items (up to four boxes), and we will donate any items to charity that do not meet our guidelines.

Consignment FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q) What kinds of brands do you accept?
A) We accept better brand names. If you are bringing ladies clothing, some examples of brands that sell great are GAP, Roxy, Guess, Parasuco, Ralph Lauren, lululemon, Garage, Jacob, and many more. Some children’s brands that sell well are GAP, Gymboree, Old Navy, The Children’s Place, La Senza Girl, Mexx, and Carter’s.
We occasionally accept lesser brands when it comes to kids clothes, but they must be in impeccable condition and bought new within 2 years.
Q)Who sets the prices?
A) We do. We know the marketplace and what our customers are looking for and willing to pay. We strive to maintain a balance between maximizing profit to our consignors and still offering a great value to our customers.
Q) Do I need to make an appointment to bring my items in?
A) No! We accept clothing every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday without an appointment. Consignors are notified of any changes to this schedule by email, so please sign up for our email list!
Q) You accept clothing in-season or slightly before-season. When do you accept what?
A)We accept clothing according the following schedule:
- Spring: Jan 1 – March 15
- Summer: March 15 – July 15
- Fall: Aug 1 – Sept 15
- Winter: Sept 15 – Dec 15
(Please note that we take a short break from accepting consignments being major season changes)
Q) My items came right out of the closet and are clean. Do I need to wash them again?
A) YES! Everything needs to be freshly laundered. Washing all clothing just prior to bringing it in will eliminate household odours, resulting in probably acceptance and a quick sale. Any pet hair needs to be removed thoroughly. We may choose to accept an item anyway, but you will be charged a cleaning fee.
Q) Do I have to use my earnings as a store credit, or can I take a cash payment?
A) You are always welcome to take cash or store credit. Earnings can be collected at any time.
Q) Do I have to hang everything, or can I bring some things in bags?
A) Teens and ladies clothing should come in on hangers, but may be accepted folded neatly in boxes as long as they are not wrinkled. Hanging is preferred because it will ensure items stay wrinkle-fee (you did iron them, right?) and will allow us to quickly choose what we can sell. Children’s clothing must be brought folded in boxes. Please don’t bring clothing in garbage bags. Unfortunately, that’s what it often looks like when you take it out.
Q)Do you take men’s clothing?
A) No. We accept teen boy clothing up to size 18, but we don’t have the space to carry men’s clothing.
Q) Who do you donate unsold items to?
A) We support the Canadian Diabetes Association. They pick up clothing from us on a weekly basis. |
